Texas Housers calls on HUD to address the dire conditions and racial disparities at Millennia Properties

Texas Housers’ years of work in Project Based Rental Assistance (PBRA) housing has informed us on how management operates when the housing is decent, safe, and sanitary and how it operates when it is not. In our personal experience, Sandpiper Cove has consistently been a danger to all who reside there, and its management company – Millennia Management Company LLC and Millennia Housing Management LTD. – has repeatedly demonstrated they not only are incapable of providing safe housing for its tenants, but also has managed to escape any culpability in fixing these issues.

We urge HUD to conduct an investigation of the poor housing conditions within Millennia’s properties, which we believe are particularly problematic in Millennia properties in predominantly Black neighborhoods. We requested a response to this letter and a meeting with HUD to further discuss our findings and concerns.

  1. Catholic charities paid my rent 1year,nowhere to go now, please help

  2. I was approved 2 times and then I was accused that I was living with my landlord then denied. I am put in a horrible situation. My landlord has credit card receipts going over a year back paying rent where she lives with her husband. They never accepted the proof or called me back. I think my money went somewhere else.
