Though there are only a few months left in 2020, there is still so much to address before the year is through. On this episode, we are joined by University of Texas Law professor Heather Way, as she discusses her latest report on Public Facility Corporations.
While the original intent of these entities was to create affordable housing, some 11th-hour changes in the state legislature a few years back essentially made them cash grabs that do very little for low-income tenants almost overnight.
Professor Way published a report on the changes and how PFCs are now being used, and we were fortunate enough to have her on our show to break down her findings.
