Video: Fair Housing and Neighborhood Rights for Houston

On April 16, residents of low-income communities in Houston will host The People’s Fair Housing Forum. We’re proud to partner with Texas Organizing Project (TOP) and Texas Appleseed to help put together this important event, which kicks off a campaign to bring fair housing and neighborhood rights to traditionally underserved, mostly minority communities in Houston. Gustavo F. Velasquez, the Assistant Secretary for Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, will be in attendance.

To introduce the Fair Housing and Neighborhood Rights campaign to Assistant Secretary Velasquez and the Houston community, we helped produce this video about how TOP leaders are continuing the fight for civil rights and housing justice:
