Harvey news week of 12/3

CLEAN WATER HARD TO FIND
Cities, mobile home parks and housing developments in seven counties across southeast Texas are without clean drinking water. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality reports more than 3,700 people in those areas haven’t had clean water since Harvey hit in late August.  (Associated Press via Houston Chronicle)

EARLY SURVEY DATA AVAILABLE

The Kaiser Family Foundation and Episcopal Health Foundation have released a report of survey data collected in the 24 counties hit by Harvey.  The report found that 66% of respondents suffered income or property loss as a result of the storm and that residents along the Golden Coast were particularly struggling to rebuild.  The entire report can be accessed here.
