The housing justice video game Dot’s Home is now available for free on PC/Mac and mobile devices, and we are hosting a livestream play along of the game with a few very special guests to commemorate the release!
Joining us on this special event will be council member from Austin’s 4th district Greg Casar, author and Dot’s Home lead story writer Evan Narcisse, and game producer and PowerSwitch Action’s Christina Rosales.
The generational journey Dot takes in her story is one that is familiar to many in Texas. Historic neighborhoods of color that have been speculated upon by developers, unfair redlining practices, institutionalized racism and other outside forces. Yet, the spirit and strength of community is a more powerful force than most realize.
If you’re curious about what a housing justice video game looks like or would like to join a conversation about how affordable housing is a generational issue, this is a livestream that is must-watch.
You can join us live on Wednesday, December 8 at 7:30 p.m. CST and watch right here or on our YouTube.
